Thailand’s AIS, with Sing Tel, to spur incubators & start up, across Asia Pacific

Matichon, a Thai press for the progressive intellect, reports that Thailand’s AIS, significantly owned by Temasek, the Singapore sovereign fund, have with companies in the Sing Tel strategic partnership have launched the “Regional Seed Network” in an attempt to spur innovation start-up relating to telecom industry. Matichon reports AIS executive has invited representative ofSingTel Innov8 from Singapore’sSingTel, Kickstart Ventures from Globe of the Philippines, Teman Dev fromTelkomsel Indonesia, Optus Innov8 Seed fromOptus Australia, Maxis Malaysia and AIS The StartUp fromAIS Tailand, to join in a workshop, to help spur StartUp. The aim is also to help spur investment into telecom related incubators, in Thailand and across the region. (Source)
